Why black and white boudoir portraits?
When you see a black and white photo it does something to you. Makes you think back in time and think in a vintage type of way…Guess what it does that to me too…lol... The 1st color photo was not until the early 19th Century, but even with the new development of color photos, there is something about those black and white photos that draws you to them and makes you really look it over and observe it.
Timeless: Black and white photos are able to speak across all genres and generation’s
Fewer Distractions: With a black and white photo, they have a way of calming the environment and drawing your attention and eye to a particular place in the photo.
Mood setter: can draw out an emotion of sadness, excitement, curiosity, and more
Simple: The simplicity of a black and white photo makes it easy for the eyes to view it. Color images are gorgeous but have a way of marketing your eyes bounce around to if the colors are speaking a certain language of their own. The simplicity of a black and white image helps the image to fit into any decor as well. You can place it in a bedroom, bathroom, living room, nursery…anywhere.
Hide: With boudoir, black and white images are able to hide and shadow those areas you are less wanting to show.
Black and white images reverse the viewers' judgment and force them to focus on the eyes or shapes in the image.
A BOUDOIR photoshoot can be so fun and uplifting. They make great gifts and it gives you a moment, ultimately, to celebrate YOU because you ROCK GIRL!!!!
