3 Boudoir Myths

Boudoir is all about embracing your womanhood. Our bodies go through soooo much as we travel along our journeys starting as a teenager and going through puberty, womanhood with bearing children, elderly with menopause, and more depending on activities, you involve yourself in. Boudoir assists you in embracing yourself and whatever weight, size, mentality, and sexuality points you may be at. Boudoir helps you to love on yourself as it is.

HAVE TO BE A SIZE 0 OR SMALL

As women, we are our own worst critics. In our minds there are things we think we should fix about ourselves (cover that scar, shrink my belly, remove that stretch mark….etc). Your size does not define your beauty. All sizes are beautiful and sexy and even more so in the eyes of the right person.

BOUDOIR PHOTOS ARE ALL LINGERIE 

In the diction definition, boudoir is bedroom or private room. When many think of a bedroom or private room photos they probably do first think lingerie. They maybe trying to seduce a partner or potential partner. Lingerie is a form of clothing that can be worn during a session, but so can a crop top shirt and jean or shorts, a robe, a jersey or even a baggy sweat shirt. Boudoir is all about being comfortable in what you wearing. If you feel sexy in one of the above or all, ROCK it girl.

BOUDOIR IS A NEW NAME FOR PORN

I hear this all too often. People will say something because I’m doing porn. 1 st who cares what others say. Someone always has something to say…lol..but in actuality, boudoir is an artistic expression like Picasso and Matisse. Boudoir photography is empowering women to love themselves, their journeys, celebrations, and accomplishments they have come.
